CHANGE YOUR MINDSET, CHANGE THE WORLD
TOP ADVICE FROM THE BEST JOB FINDER APP.
At INICIO, we’ve met enough candidates looking for employment opportunities. Here is the one important factor that we came across while working on our employment project. The confidence of the applicants always appeared to be more important than their qualifications.
We all have had a second thought following our instincts. Some may find it as important as to prioritize them over the original thought. And a few might refer to it as ‘uncertainty’. That’s when we look into ourselves, cross-examining every aspect of uncertainty that we revolve around until we conclude to the fact that our confidence has got wobbly.
Very often we have been subjected to fluctuating thoughts and ideas in mind. Our mind has become as self-processing phenomenon that tends to waver in any direction.
Your experiences in life determine the confidence that you behold.
And let’s get to know where the affective parameters are evolved among the boundless amount of possibilities and experience that we lived through.
To break things down, ask yourself what controls the state of your mind? Is it the social circle you live in? Or is it the social status that you’ve acquired? Could it be the achievements you have obtained so far? Wait! Chance could be that it is the way you perceive the factors around you that constructs to form your life. Little do we know!
WHAT ARE YOUR EXPERIENCE?
Since the motive behind the parameters that resolve your confidence vary with diverse experiences among people and their perception, let’s generalise onto the common aspects.
- Denied opportunities
- Financial prominence
- Social prestige
- Areas of interests
- Career profile.
And many more parameters could be derived on the note. But the entire key to the idea is not to understand what these parameters could be, but the way you have perceived these factors and how it affects you.
So all it has to do is with the mind-set you’ve evolved from.
On the long run, the quality of your mind-set could be clinched from the total life adventures you have been through. But on a detailed examination, the complete effect of these life adventures depends on how you perceived it.
Therefore, we can agree with the closure stating that by changing our mind-set with enhanced quality elements, we could improve the confidence that we bring in.
DETAILED INSIGHT TOWARDS THE FRAMEWORK
- Let’s break into reforming your perceptions on various air:
- Achievements in life
- Challenges and barriers
- Social background
- Educational qualifications
The overall impact of achievements only appear to have a prolonged effect on our career planning. The eventual point that defines the future would be more about the achievement you aspire to grab rather than the achievements itself.
Perhaps it could be the challenges and barriers around us that arise when we set out for various initiatives to get a job. It could completely redefine the effort and struggle you put in to have it under your possession. Sometimes it could be a breakthrough that lit your performance to the cap.
The social reputation that may have clinched onto you is involuntary. It’s only a negligible factor that affects your perception about yourself. Be it positive enough, the rise ahead would always be self-reliant and detached from these influences.
To say that your qualifications on educational grounds are important to your employment opportunities, the validation of these qualification only comes with skills and expertise. So, the point that defines your opportunity is more about how willing you are to pull out the best out of your ability to perform. The best employment has been the best performer.
When you are on that trial to find a good job to establish a career for yourself, you must be equipped with the proper mind-set so that you are able to identify the golden opportunities and grab them on the go.

Never incorporate these on your CV
It is an understood fact that we will never get another chance to make a first impression. This is most true in the case of a job resume. Almost every company use special software to primarily evaluate a candidate’s resume, recruiters are the first people whom you must impress.
The language or structure of the content of a resume can definitely rank a job seeker’s chances of getting their dream job. We only have a limited span of time to catch our prospective employer’s eye. So take care to attain it wisely.
Scan your resume to make sure that you haven’t included these terms :
Your employment dates can show if you are employed or a fresher. So there is no need to highlight your status.
An employer needs a hardworking individual who can work up to his maximum on time and who is self-motivated, no need for highlighting the same.
3. Misspelled words
A misspelled word will completely eliminate an otherwise excellent candidate from consideration since it addresses lack of attention to detail. While making a CV, spare some time for proofreading.
Be sure to include only the relevant skills that can make you a perfect fit for the job. And skills that can make you stand out from others.
Do not give a copy content for your resume in addressing your objective. Make a valuable and reliable content and if you are enclosing a cover letter it can be mentioned in it and no need to describe the same in your resume.
6.Reference Available Upon Request
Enclosing the term “references will be given upon request” at the bottom of your CV is a symbol that a candidate is eager about the same. If an employer wants to get connected to know more details about you, they will ring directly. Everyone assumes that they need references, but they will ask if necessary.
Do someone writes a resume for you? So there is no need to use the word I everywhere. It will be clear without stating the same.
Stay away from sentences which state you are dabbled with some technology years ago. In this case, don’t add that technology to your CV if you are not well versed in the same.
Try to avoid over exaggerations with the word expert, unless you really are. Otherwise, be prepared to explain wisely for their all answers to show your expertise in the respective field.
10. Avoid Can’t and Won’t
Do not be include negative words in a resume. It should demonstrate what you are able to do and do not disclose what you can not do.
11. Avoid unnecessary personal details
Information regarding your family status, personal interests etc. should not be included on a resume. These details do not make the qualifications of a candidate for the job.
Your personal interests that do not relate to the job you are going to apply can’t address the qualifications you have for that job.

The reasons are very simple. Firstly, almost everyone has a computer at their home to get connected online and all are equipped with mobile devices. Secondly, the families are getting smaller and isolated with fewer family members and there arises the need for an instant touch with relatives, friends, and colleagues.
It is important to know that what social media means for your employment profile and job opportunities. Because this is the way, that your employer knows you apart from work. That means how you spend time or what are interests for rest of your time after work.

Content which is offensive – Almost every day we are used to posting or sharing a plethora of amazing things throughout our social media. Sometimes they might be offensive or illegal. Absent or inactive in social media – Some people deactivate their accounts when viewed themselves negatively. They wish to live like an offline nomad. When an employer checks out this, they see this as a misconception. Social media is now having a great deal in showcasing yourselves before others especially someone who wishes to hire you.
Grammatical and spelling errors– Someone may forgive you on your profanity, use of abbreviations and special slangs on your personal text messages. But your employer will not do the same. They can’t bear all this from your side. You have to come off as professional but not like a human dictionary. Stick on with a proficient language and spell correctly.
With the development of social media channels, both the employees and employers are open to a vast source of information ranging from templates for online resume and job portals which are sprouting every day.

How & When to Start Exploring for Good Job Opportunities
Are you looking for some good job opportunities?
Do you want to chase your dreams and do something more creative? Something that provides more work-life balance for your budding family? How about a fancy new title and a corner office?
Or maybe you just want to get out of the corporate world altogether for something more low-key?
Whether you’re ready to make a big change or just want to browse your options, before you think about the tactical approach to finding your dream gig, you need to take a moment to figure out what is most important to you. Meaning, you need to think about what is most critical to you at this stage in your life.
New to job hunting?
Each candidate’s journey is going to be different, however, there are some steps that can be taken during each year of undergraduate education. Our advice is to consider the year you’re in and take some steps in career search and try to plan ahead. You can start by attending information sessions and upcoming job fairs.
- Network, network, network! There’s no substitute for personal relationships when looking for employment opportunities. Today, networking is easier than ever with social and professional networking sites in abundance.
- Use your resources.
- Stay fit.
- Stay sharp: Stay current on the latest news, trends and technologies that are important in your industry.
- Be flexible.
- Don’t panic, be patient, but don’t be picky.
- Be willing to commute or relocate.
- Be open to interim positions, freelancing or consulting.
- Treat the search process as a job.
- Start the search immediately.
And remember, the possibilities are endless!
Find your focus
Think well about the jobs or companies that you loved in the past (and also the ones you didn’t), and then write down the qualities that made those special to you. Once you’ve compiled a proper list of all your top priorities, it will be an easy task to assess whether certain companies align with your ultimate goals.
The companies eager to grow alongside the bustling economy are grinding to find great new candidates to fill the high number of fresher job openings. Meaning, for the first time in years, candidates are picking the companies they want to work for and not vice versa.
With so many companies desperate to find the talent they need, things can start to move really fast once you start exploring opportunities – much faster than you can control sometimes.
Organizations are going to use anything they can, from stacked company kitchen snack setups to exclusive gym memberships, to woo you. Do your homework on companies to discover what you really need to know about them before it’s too late. Google and find out whether current employees are contributing positive messages about the company. Even though you can’t believe everything you read, it should give you some general idea and vibe. It’s also a great way to pick out those potential red flags that you can then ask about during the interview process.
If it all seems too good to be true, know that you probably haven’t found the ugly yet. Many times, the downsides you do find aren’t something that goes against your values, but you still need to dig deeper to find out before you sign the dotted line.
Want to move up in your present career?
We understand that it’s a lot harder to have a conversation with your current manager about getting that promotion you want. But why not give it a shot?
Your current company may surprise you and step up to the plate to show you how much they value your presence, or they could send some strong indicators that it’s time to go.
Besides, it’s also an insurance policy for maintaining positive relationships, even if you ultimately decide to part ways.
Level with your boss about a potential offer and give them a chance to match (or best) it before you put in your two weeks’ notice to avoid your boss begrudgingly asking: “Why didn’t you come and talk to me?”.
They’ll appreciate you being upfront about it, and giving them a heads up will take the sting out of leaving so you can maintain a positive relationship moving forward.
And whatever you do, be smart and discrete, (which includes not browsing other jobs on your work laptop) and you’ll stay out of hot water with your current employer.
However it fares, the most important thing to know is that your success doesn’t depend on one thing, in particular, it depends on the sum of millions of small things that make you happy and content NOW.
